A typical Krav Maga class will last between one hour and one hour and thirty minutes and will incorporate a vigorous warm up followed by the teaching of one or two techniques, and then stress drilling of the techniques. It’s one thing to defend against an attack, but a completely different situation when doing so under low light conditions, exhaustion, impaired vision, or against multiple attackers.

Zach Evans
Zach Evans
Zach has been in the martial arts for over 17 years starting at a very young age. He is one of the most well rounded instructors in Utah. He is known for his attention to detail. Many instructors and other high level black belts attend his classes. His technique is superb and he is one of the first Krav Maga instructors to ever be awarded the Gold diploma by Krav Maga Alliance owner and President, John Whitman. Zach is a certified instructor and is currently working towards his black belt in Krav Maga. He is also a 3rd degree Black belt under his father, Paul Evans. Zach’s goal is to bring the best Krav Maga training in Utah.

Brant is a true believer in Krav Maga, and feels that it is the most effective and beneficial training that anyone could invest in.
His passion for Krav Maga comes from the fact that it has been field tested in a part of the world where chaos is the norm in everyday life, and because it was developed to be quickly learned by all types and sizes of people.

He has a background in Kenpo, Kick Boxing and Wrestling.
Brant transitioned to Krav Maga in 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah, under Paul Evans. He attained his Krav Maga Instructor certification under John Whitman, owner of Krav Maga Alliance.

Matt Martinez
Matt Martinez

Matt has been a strength coach for 20 years and has been a competitive powerlifter for 26 years. He is Olympic certified, and has held many other sport specific certifications. He has been a high school powerlifting coach and football coach for the last 19 years.

Matt has trained current NFL players including a Super Bowl champion, male and female college athletes, high school athletes , track athletes,  current world powerlifting record holders , olympic hopefuls and many others from 6 year olds on up.

Matt’s main goal in training is to help each individual find their true strength inside and out. Watching their confidence grow as the achieve the goals they set and meet. Matt believes in hard work and heavy iron.

Annie Martinez
Annie Martinez was a multiple sport athlete in High School (soccer, softball, basketball) and played College basketball. She has always been very driven in sports and fitness. She comes from a great coaching legacy as her Father was a wrestling Coach for 30+ years at American Fork High School. Annie now loves Running, powerlifting, krav maga and Strikefit. She is a certified Strikefit Coach and absolutely loves teaching her classes at KMR. She has an infectious personality and wants to help her students become better each and every time they come to class. She is an amazing coach and an even better person!
